Good news for lovers of nature, cycling and family outings: the Ognon Valley Greenway now stretches for 54 km as a continuous route in Haute-Saône. This route, which was completed in October 2023 with the opening of the final section linking Vouhenans, Lure and La Côte, now provides a full connection across the entire valley.
This project has been developed gradually over the years, with the first section opening in June 2015 between Villersexel and Bonnal (8.7 km), then in June 2019 with the section between Lure and Villersexel (18 km), followed in October 2020 by the link between Bonnal and Montagney-Servigney (8 km), before being completed in October 2023, thus providing a continuous 54 km route dedicated to soft mobility.
A nature walk suitable for everyone
Completely safe and reserved for non-motorised transport, this greenway is ideal for cycling, walking, rollerblading or even family outings.
Thanks to its relatively flat route, it is suitable for both keen sports enthusiasts and holidaymakers simply looking to enjoy the peace and quiet and the region’s scenery.
